‘Running Back’ to Revealed Recordings after last year’s smash hit of the same name, Sandro Silva this time recruits two Revealed rising stars, Max Adrian and Meikle, who work together for a second time following their Yves V supported single ‘Portal’ last year. The track, titled ‘Activate’, is set for release 4th December, showcasing a perfect pairing of Revealed’s old and new school.

Opening up with delicate piano keys, what begins as a more classical piece quickly finds its way into the Revealed world with the assistance of a syncopated female vocal line, and some rolling snare work. A classic Sandro Silva big build takes us to the top, before the seemingly innocent piano melody from the start returns on big room stilts above the kind of pulsing low ends that would shatter its forerunner. Being active on Revealed since 2013, and achieving his peak label success with last year’s ‘Running Back’, which has since topped 4 million streams on Spotify and received numerous support, Sandro Silva proves that whether he works solo or as part of a collective effort his signature touch will always be favourable with big room progressive fans across the globe.  

At only 21 and 16 years old respectively, the fact that Max Adrian and Meikle have history with a global leading imprint such as Revealed is testament to their promise as the next generation of dance music tastemakers. With Max’s last Revealed release finding airtime at events he’s not even old enough to attend, such as EDC, Ultra Music and amongst label boss Hardwell’s live sets, the ambition of this young producer is almost unimaginable. Top that with Meikle, who featured on Revealed Volumes 8 & 11 with his label debut ‘Never Leave My Sight’, and the finished result is a track that closes the generation gap giving promise that Revealed will continue to dominate the electronic world in years to come.
