Being Alive
Hardwell feat. JGUAR
After premiering it at Tomorrowland last summer, Revealed Recordings label boss Hardwell gives ‘Being Alive’ it’s long awaited release, marking a strong start moving into 2019 for the imprint. The track is the perfect follow up for the massive ‘Apollo’ (feat. Amba Shephard) which was released back in 2012, as ‘Being Alive’ has the old-school Hardwell sound, bringing it firmly into the new year with a forward-thinking effort that is sure to be heard everywhere, from festival fields to dark clubs, for months to come. Revealed also welcome fresh new vocalist JGUAR to the label, who previously released music under Kat Niall, as the two combine for a hard-hitting anthem.
The track kicks off proceeding with a warming set of dreamy piano chords which are soon joined by the spaced-out vocal perfection of JGUAR. A short, stuttering pluck gradually makes its way into the fold, signalling a ramping up of intensity towards the build, making space for an anthemic big room lead and soaring melody that set things up nicely for the electro-tinged drop, which is guaranteed to get fans moving to the expertly programmed drum beat.
After recently announcing time away from music, Hardwell’s outpull still continues to ensure his name is still firmly at the forefront or people’s minds, and that shows no sign of stopping in 2019 with ‘Being Alive’ (feat. JGUAR), as Hardwell once again demonstrates just why he is at the top of the dance music sphere. Grab your copy of ‘Being Alive’ featuring JGUAR when it is released 4th January via Revealed Recordings.
