Summer Air
Hardwell Trevor Guthrie
As Hardwell announced his retirement from touring back in 2018, one of the brightest stars of the Big Room generation didn’t leave his loyal, global fan base with an empty space as he continues to craft anthems with wild originality. Collaborating with Italian Duo VINAI on ‘Out Of This Town’, hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg and pop prince Connor Mayard on ‘How You Love Me’, as well aslong-term musical peer Dannic on the vocal-driven ‘Chase The Sun’, he then followed with the scorching ‘I’m Not Sorry’ alongside youngster Mike Williams in 2019, that drew in support from David Guetta, W&W and a huge number of Revealed Recordings alumni. Next up and revved to kick-start the warmer months, he now brings ‘Summer Air’ with Trevor Guthrie to attention on his own, praised Revealed Recordings; a guitar-flecked acoustic flavour of the season that rises up with elevated synths and a radio-ready, five-note melody as keys underpin Trevor’s declaration that “There Must Be Something In That Summer Air” – the track is set-for-the-FM-airwaves and every inch the festival anthem with its feel good factor turned up to ten. Trevor’s vocals have previously caught the eye of Armin Van Buuren on the worldwide hit ‘This Is What It Feels Like’, that dominated airplay and mainstages worldwide and is now seen as a classic, staple to the genre, Trevor now comes together with Hardwell as the pair concoct a release that is the ultimate balance of electronic and pop, dance and vocal fusion, make sure you are part of the ‘Summer Air’ influx!
