Trabanca

After releasing ‘The Underground’ on Revealed Volume 8 last month, Maddix returns to the label for the seventh time this year, this time teaming up with debutant JUNIOR on the irresistible ‘Trabanca’. Following on from collaborations with Hardwell and remixing SICK Individuals for the compilation series, Maddix once again brings the heat alongside JUNIOR, with ‘Trabanca’ set to eclipse previous Maddix’s iterations on the label, and thrust him further into the limelight, while also unearthing another raw talent in JUNIOR. 

The track sets out it’s stall early on, as glitched out tribal percussion permeates the hardstyle drum and progressive-leaning tones, and sets out the track’s intense intentions from the start. The track makes way for a more anthemic, gliding portamento synth melody in the breakdown that gives listeners relief from the hard beat, alongside 8-bit accompaniments that perfectly compliment the track’s musical elements. These continue into the drop, as the intensity of the drums, matched with the electronic licks, combine to create a match made in heaven, ensuring ‘Trabanca’ will be marked out as a stand out track when it is inevitably dropped by DJ’s across the globe. 

Originally dropped by Hardwell during his Ultra Japan set, the label head and record-breaking DJ has since made the track a mainstay in his sets, most recently unleashing ‘Trabanca’ during his world’s first Mexico F1 Grand Prix post-race podium show, capping off a stellar year for the Revealed regular and his new accomplice. With support on previous releases already from the likes of Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and W&W, ‘Trabanca’ is set to continue in the same vein, garnering respect and plays from the biggest DJ’s on the planet.
