I Should Have Walked Away
KAAZE feat.Nino Lucarelli
KAAZE is a name fans of Revealed Recordings are very familiar with, with previous releases such as the collaboration with label boss Hardwell on ‘This Is Love’ dropping last year, and now he follows up on last Revealed release ‘Better Than This’ with ‘I Should Have Walked Away’, featuring the vocal talents of Nino Lucarelli, a singer-songwriter who is also no stranger to Revealed with previous work alongside KAAZE.
The track is introduced by a shimmering delayed synth stab, before the voice of Nino Lucarelli quickly take centre stage, utilising the lyrics and vocal melody of infamous Cutting Crew track ‘(I Just) Died In Your Arms’, a track sampled before to great effect, to provide a fresh perspective on a classic. The lead synth that first appears on the drop follows the same melody as the top line, quickly cementing the single as an anthem and one you’re sure to hear across festival fields and on dancefloors in the upcoming months.
KAAZE has garnered respect from some of dance music’s biggest names, having had previous support from the likes of Hardwell, W&W, Blasterjaxx and Futuristic Polar Bears to name a few, and that number is sure to continue to rise with the instantly memorable ‘I Should Have Walked Away;.
