From taking us to ‘The Neon City’ within a ‘Crazy World’ on their previous, sensational Revealed Recordings releases, VIVD are now back with a vengence bringing a ‘Rave Generation’ anthem, alongside PENELOPE!

PENELOPE, a name eagle-eyed fans of the label may know from collaborations with alumni including Maddix on ‘Raw Diamonds’, cements the stellar status as of an artist on the rise, here collaborating with the high-octane VIVID for a union that will capture attentions all across the scene.

‘Rave Generation’ kicks-off with a declaration of “We are the rave generation!” that is repeated throughout the instantaneous, reactive notion of the track to pique interest and act as a call-to-arms for party starters, amongst the instrumental chaos. With pummeling drum beats that hit heavy, “overdrive is our destination” bellows the topline, simple and effective, allowing for the zooming, techno beats to bring a rush of endorphins that pulsates throughout. With a key-led breakdown, stretched vocals are then introduced, reminiscent of nostalgic rave to add a push-and-pull of classic elements, intertwined with lightning bolts of synth and bass.
