Next To Me

Olmos returns to Gemstone Records with his brand new track titled ‘Next To Me’ featuring multi-talented vocalist LZ. Highlighting whimsical sound design, acoustic touches, and passionate vocals, the record is a perfect example of Olmos continuing to push musical boundaries while finding a harmonic balance between dance music and pop.

Next To Me begins with warm guitar strums and an atmospheric vocal chop melody before introducing LZ’s unmistakable voice. Muted electric guitars and comforting plucks back the catchy verse before the track culminates to warm synth chords, punchy snares, and hi-hat twinkles. Olmos switches things up in the second portion of the track by soloing a deep-house inspired bass progression.

Hailing from Los Angeles, Olmos is best known for his future pop sound which has captivated legends such as Hardwell, Steve Aoki, and Morgan Page. His previous track on Gemstone Records was supported repeatedly by Hardwell on his Off The Record radio show. Colorado-based LZ is a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist with notable performances at events such as Sundance Music Fest and SXSX. Her expertise extends to working with Grammy-winning producers and songwriting for releases on labels such as DIM MAK.
