Outlaws
Manse & JRL feat. Jonny Rose
Returning to Revealed Recordings after this summer’s standout hit ‘Summer Rain’, label favourite Manse this time recruits the assistance of Swedish EDM trio JRL for their debut collab ‘Outlaws’. The track is set for release October 25th, and will feature newcomer Johnny Rose on what will be his first vocal performance on Hardwell’s EDM leading label.
Kicking off with Rose’s delicate vocals over a guitar-flecked melody, elevating synths create a glowing womb-like quality as the track moves towards a conclusion characteristic of this label’s output. The declaration “outlaws again” introduces the single’s mainroom-destined chorus, as pulsing low-ends and trance-like synths serve to drive the energy on the various big-scale festival dancefloors Revealed tracks typically find themselves. With ‘Summer Rain’ approaching 200k streams in the early stages of its release, while finding support from some of dance music’s most influential tastemakers; Hardwell, Tiësto, Yves V, much in the same way that JRL’s 2018 breakthrough, summer anthem ‘No Way’ has since gone viral with over 20 million streams across their social channels, ‘Outlaws’ serves to showcase an expertly crafted combination of their EDM/radio-friendly musical stylings, which will no doubt be recognised by fans across the globe.
With Manse having already put out multiple acclaimed releases on Revealed this year, such as ‘Blame’ and ‘Runaway’, both with a combined total of over a million streams on Spotify, the track in question once again reminds us why he is frequently cited as one of the label’s finest contributors.
