Summer Air (Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano Remix)
Hardwell Trevor Guthrie
Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano make their long-overdue bow on Revealed Recordings, marking their debut on the label with their take on label boss Hardwell’s recent anthem ‘Summer Air’ featuring Trevor Guthrie. The pair have been in fine form, with recent releases coming courtesy of their own Armada Music affiliated label SONO, including 2018 hit ‘Savages’ with Bruno Martini and Mayra which has amassed closed to 15 million streams on Spotify alone, making them the perfect candidates to provide the third remix of ‘Summer Air’, which itself has garnered over 10 million streams since its release this summer.
The remix maintains the standout element of the vocal, which shines throughout the breakdown of the remix. The addition of progressive elements, including a synth bassline which opens up over the duration of the build-up, takes the track in an undoubtably more club-focused direction, the round bass combining with the original horn hook of the original to fill out the track and give the remix its sense of drive.
Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano have graced the mainstage of the world’s biggest festivals over the past few years, including Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival, and have remixed for a diverse roster of esteemed artists, from Kaskade and Ferry Corsten, so make a welcome addition to the Revealed family with their remix of ‘Summer Air’. Grab your copy of the remix when it is released via Revealed Recordings 4th October.
