With an industrial, high-octane sound, ‘Mortality’ plays with a syncophony of sounds that tread peak-time, speeding big-room and hard-hitting ravey troupes with melodies that race for days. As a vocal echo of “Mortality!” is delivered as if a call-to-arms for the intense dancers of the scene, the production mutates into techno that is peppered with interesting percussion, from knockout drum kicks to fluttering high-hats, synths swell come the breakdown for a moment of pure, hands-in-the-air euphoria.
