Mexican DJ/producer duo ANG lend a hand from French selector Mykris on latest track ‘Alternate Reality’, a thumping floorfiller with influences from hardstyle, techno and mainstage.

The three headed monster that is ANG and Mykris join forces effortlessly on ‘Alternate Reality’, a song that explores many corners of the wider EDM sound. Utilising sounds from techno, bass house, mainstage and even hardstyle to produce a sonic profile that is dynamic, versatile and above all, extremely energetic. The huge, ear rattling drops and a subsequent crashing bassline, paired with a contrasting bridge that takes on a more serene and tranquil sonic profile, makes listening to ‘Alternate Reality’ a moving experience.

ANG is a DJ/producer duo comprised of two Mexican friends, Arturo Kahan and Gabriel Haber. The pair have been using their undying passion for music production since 2013, but didn’t break out into the wider scene until they released ‘Shift’ on Maxximize Records. Since then, the pair have been producing genre-defiant dance music for the masses, with two of the highest points being ‘Song of the Sirens’ and ‘Asylum’ on A State Of Trance.

Mykris is a DJ and producer born in France to Spanish parents, who has been heavily interested in and involved with the EDM scene since he started DJ’ing at the young age of 16. Being a locally touring DJ at such a young age has added a considerable amount of fuel to Mykris’ internal fire. Mykris is a regular on the festival circuit with his most notable performance coming at Ultra Festival’s main stage, where he has since become a resident of. His music has been supported by the likes of Hardwell, Timmy Trumpet and Blasterjaxx.
